Last call: Public Library Funding & Technology Study
Last call: More responses are needed to ensure national and state-level analyses from the 2008-2009 Public Library Funding & Technology Study.
Information from last year's survey was used in Congressional testimony (http://tinyurl.com/5jhnq3) and in media outreach around the country (http://tinyurl.com/5dxhz8) in September. Many state libraries also use these data for peer comparison, budget requests, advocacy and testimony before legislative bodies. The 2008-2009 Web-based survey may be accessed at http://www.plinternetsurvey.org ( http://www.plinternetsurvey.org/ ). PLEASE COMPLETE THE SURVEY BY NOVEMBER 7, 2008.
Responses by state must reach 60% for state-level analysis to be conducted by the research team. As of October 27, the following states had reached or surpassed this 60% participation level: Alabama, Delaware, Georgia, Hawaii, Indiana, Montana, Nevada, Tennessee, Texas and West Virginia.
